On Saturday, April 3, 2010 Motoko presented her painting Boat Day at 1940s Irvines Landing to Dorothy Faulkner of the Archive Legacy Committee. This watercolour painting is of a steamboat arriving at Irvine's Landing in the 1940's and will be featured as the full-colour dust jacket on the upcoming book “Women of Pender Harbour, Their Voices, Their History”. ArtWave is back - bigger and better! This time, 10 Pender Harbour area studios and galleries are gearing up for their second ArtWave tour, to be held during the Easter Weekend (April 2-4).
Gather a group of friends or go on your own, but make sure you take the time to visit the eight galleries who are part of the ArtWave tour in Pender Harbour.
Motoko is always proud and happy to support the Pender Harbour Rotary Club's annual art auction and will be donating a limited edition print to help raise funds for their worthwhile cause.

On Thursday, May 7, 2009 the Pender Harbour Coast Guard Auxiliary was pleased to have noted local artist Motoko attend their Annual General Meeting at the Lions Club in Pender Harbour to present an original watercolour painting of the “Iona C”, their new Coast Guard rescue vessel. Alan Skelley, the Deputy Unit Leader of Auxiliary 61, introduced Motoko, welcomed her to the meeting, and expressed his sincerest thanks to her for accepting this commission and for donating the painting.

Spectacular Homes is a series of coffee table books in over twenty geographic regions of the country. Each edition features the inspirations and motivations represented in the work of top interior designers based in each locale.
The first book on Canada “Spectacular Homes of Western Canada” is to be published in early 2009. In this book, Interior Design Consultant, Lucille Fares, is featured as one of the designers. Lucille has chosen Motoko's art throughout her design work.

What a huge success!! Thanks to Barry O'Hara and his Jazz Festival committee. Motoko's Original Art was the proud sponsor of the Sibel Thrasher Revue on Saturday, September 20, 2008 and hosted approximately 650 visitors that day.

Motoko's art is now sold at The Bay, downtown through Mima Fine Art Publishers. Visit Mima Gallery on the 5th floor and furniture sales on the 6th floor. You will find Motoko's originals and giclee limited edition prints on display.
Motoko will be doing demonstrations at The Bay, downtown, on Friday, September 5th, 2008 on the 5th floor from 12:00 - 2:00 pm and from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
Motoko invites you to her Annual Fall Exhibition & to the Grand Opening of her new gallery floor on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and to enjoy live jazz from 11:00 to 1:00 that day with Sibel Thrasher as part of the 12th annual Pender Harbour Jazz Festival.
From June to September, the gallery will be open six days a week (closed Tuesday) from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and by appointment anytime.
Motoko is the featured artist at the Grand Opening of the Gift of the Eagle Gallery at their new location at 441 Marine Drive, Gibsons, B.C. (in beautiful Gibsons Landing)
The GRAND OPENING is Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. The Exhbition will be open daily Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. - 5:00 pm and on Sunday noon - 5:00.
